Renewable energy development · Georgia
The hard part happens before funds arrive.
NEXT Energy originates utility-scale solar and wind in Georgia and carries it through the gates that create value — land, grid, permits, offtake. Equity partners and EPC contractors join at the point where the risk is priced and the schedule is real.
Portfolio status
Every project, and the gate it has cleared
Co-located — one 110/35 kV substation, one 110 kV line, 26 MW behind a single connection

What we do
Greenfield development, start to finish
We start projects from nothing and take them to the point where they are financeable — then run construction management through to commissioning alongside the partners who fund and build them.
Secure the position
Land rights, grid interconnection and project entitlements. This is the highest barrier to entry in Georgian renewables and the reason a development pipeline has value at all.
Clear the gates
Resource assessment, pre-feasibility, environmental permitting and offtake. Each gate cleared moves the project into reach of a wider pool of capital at a lower cost.
Bring in capital and EPC
At Notice to Proceed we either close project financing and build, or divest to an investor looking for long-term ownership. Construction management runs through to commissioning either way.
Partners
Who we build with
Every project sits in its own company with a named partner. Development risk, capital and construction responsibility are allocated at the project level, not at the group level.

EPCUdabno and Iliatsminda are contracted under EPC agreements with OHM Energy LLC (Georgia), the local subsidiary of OHM Energy LTD (Armenia) — our equity partner in Iliatsminda.
Construction managementENGIA Green LLC has been engaged to handle construction management for both projects.
First plant
Udabno, energising in 2026
The 5 MW Udabno solar plant in Sagarejo is the portfolio's first asset to reach commercial operation. It was developed with the Georgian Energy Development Fund, began construction in May 2026, and is targeting commercial operation in September 2026.
Everything behind it in the pipeline is being developed to the same process. Udabno is where that process stops being a description and becomes a track record.
